I actually missed her…..terd.

Well when I got home from NYC I had an early Xmas gift. My mini 1000 had arrived. Props to Hp for getting it here so fast. Its the best thing I’ve purchased in years. This thing is so small. I’m debating on if I even need a case for it.

Now I just have to get 3g and a 6 cell battery for this mofo.

I dropped in a 2 gig stick of ram and this thing screams. Its quick for an atom processor. I may still order a dell mini 9, just so I can do a hands on comparison. But the wife will probabaly kill me. More to come later.

This is hopefully my first mobile post from my blackberry. I’m riding in the car coming home from Dallas.

Whew. Lots happened the last few days. We flew home from NYC. Worst day ever! We flew standby on some buddy passes from my mother-in-law. All the flight were over booked. We had to fly to D.C. then home from there. 8 hours total. Yuck.

I got home and then we turned around and drove to Dallas for a wedding. Shout out to Katie and Adam Brown! Congrats.

They were filming a movie under the apartment this a.m. We couldn’t figure out who was in it… but it deffinetly wasn’t us. We were told to get out of the way when we went down. lol.

Me and the wife made it to NYC.  We shopped all day and then went to Little Italy for lunch.  On the way back we stopped in SOHO.  There was a shop we went in to that had a tabogin for friggin $695.00!!! Only in NYC.

ComicCon ‘09 is in NYC.  It’s right around the corner from my Aunt’s apartment.  Debating on if I sould go.

Well I returned my Dell XT yesterday.  I just couldn’t justify having a 12.1 laptop that was slower than my current 12.1 XPS.  I thought I could use one for work, and one for personal use, but I couldn’t stick with it.  I decided a netbook with 3g access would be what I need.  There was a rumor online that people were getting the HP mini 1000 online, so I went ahead and ordered one.  Then of course the next day, Dell announced 3g availability for its mini 9.  If the HP is a bust, I’ll be sending it back and getting the Dell.

Me and Corinne are getting ready to head off for our annual retreat to NYC for Thanksgiving.  We have 3 nights in Manhattan and then 2 days in Morristown NJ.  I missed lat year when we were selling the old house, so it’s been a while for me.  Thanksgiving on the east coast is so much fun.
